How Green Is That… Laptop?

The Toshiba Protégé M750 contains fewer toxins than most PC notebooks. Plus, the battery lasts longer due to its excellent energy efficiency, and the laptop has a touch screen that can turn into a digital tablet.

The Dell Latitude D630 is packaged with 25% post-consumer recycled material, has a longer battery life and gives off far less heat than other PCs.

The Lenovo Thinkpad X300 uses mercury-free LED light and is 25% more efficient then Lenovo’s other notebooks. The packaging materials for the X300 are 90% recyclable.

Apple’s new generation of MacBooks boasts that they are “the greenest family of notebooks ever made.” Made from recyclable aluminum and arsenic-free glass, the new MacBook also uses a mercury-free LED back light, and 4% less packaging.
